David is survived by son David Murrieta Jr, daughter in law Natasha Murrieta; brother Ralph Murrieta; grandson David Murrieta III.

David was preceded in death by his spouse Consuelo Mendoza Murrieta; father Rafael Murrieta and mother Adriana Sotelo; sister Lilly Hernandez; sister Connie Flores; brother Angel Murrieta; brother Rudy Murrieta; brother Mariano Murrieta and brother Robert Murrieta.

A Mass of Christian Burial for David will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 816 Pottle Avenue, Fresno, California 93706. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, David will be laid to rest at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, California 93706.

Serving as pallbearers are David Murrieta Jr., Natasha Murrieta, Alice Deniz, Elias Deniz, Rufo Atondo and Henry Hernandez.
