David Hugh Hobbs

David was born to Fred and Maria Hobbs in Eagle Pass, Texas on May 9, 1949. David was a Vietnam Veteran, who served as a Sergeant (E-5) in the United States Marine Corps until 1974. He returned to Fresno, CA where he began his career of 36 years as a Diesel Mechanic for Ryder Transportation Services, before retiring with that company.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Maria Hobbs; and sister, Elsie Hobbs Renteria.

David is survived by his wife Isabel; his three children, Felicia, Nicholas and Nathan; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family and many people who knew and loved him.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the Doctors and Nurses at Community Regional Medical Center, for all of their care and support.

A Celebration Of Life with Military Honors will take place at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, Fresno, CA, on Friday, September 4, 2015, at 11:30 a.m..
