With deep sadness in our hearts, our beloved Christopher Ryan Garcia has unexpectedly passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 33. Christopher was born on August 22, 1988 on the Island of Oahu County of Honolulu, Hawaii to his parents Edmund Edward Garcia Jr and Elizabeth Tommie Ellston.
Christopher leaves behind his wife of 9 years, Dyanne Garcia and their 4 beautiful children; Christopher Jr. (8), Hayden (7), Isaiah (5), and Anthony (20 months). Being a husband and a father was Christopher’s greatest achievement. He hoped his children learned from him the gift of giving and having a kind heart.
Christopher proudly served for the United States of America Air Force on August 26, 2008 – March 10, 2011. Being in the Air Force, his primary specialty was Aircraft Fuel System Journeyman. He received many medals: AF Outstanding Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and more including Air Force ribbons.
Christopher was also passionate and strongly known for writing mind-blowing lyrics. From spitting goofy lyrics to rapping about his darkest of times to pouring his heart out, Christopher inspired and motivated everyone around him. His sense of humor and genuine smile shinned a light into every room he walked in and will be truly missed by all his family and friends for years to come.
Christopher also leaves behind 5 siblings (Kayla Mae, Bryant, Mason, Samantha, and Elizabeth), 2 grandmothers (Deborah Sappington and Adela Garcia), and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
His funeral service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L St., Fresno, CA at 1:00 pm on April 21, 2022.
