Carlos Bonifacio Garcia

Carlos Bonifacio Garcia was born on August 15, 1944 in Clovis, CA to Bonifacio and Esperanza Garcia.

He went to be with our Lord on December 27, 2021 at home in Kerman, CA, surrounded by his wife, children and family.

Carlos will be deeply missed by his surviving family. His wife Beatrice Garcia of 53 years, daughters Michele Lenhart and husband Duane, Debra Garcia, Sons, Vincent Garcia and fiancé Daljit Muhar, Joseph Garcia and wife Ambria, including 7 grandsons and 6 granddaughters. As well as his brother Bob Garcia and sister Eloisa Sanchez. He is proceeded in death by his father and mother Bonifacio and Esperanza Garcia, his brothers Frank and Adolf, his sisters Olivia, Emily and Mary.

Carlos started his welding career working at Vendo in Pinedale with his brothers. Later he went on to work for Claude Laval Corporation as a welder and moved his way up to become Shop Supervisor. He retired in 2008 after 32 years.

He gained many loving friendships there.

He belonged to many organizations including, VFW, Knights of Columbus and an usher for his church St. Patrick’s in Kerman. Along with his wife and children he organized fellowship after mass, having coffee and donuts once a month. Also helped every year with church dinner auctions, carnivals, Knights of Columbus dinners.

A Visitation for Carlos will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.

January 14, 2022, Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial

at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 15437 W. Kearney Blvd., Kerman, CA 93630.

Interment will at Fresno Memorial following the Mass.
