Bruce Bissell, 85, of Fresno, California, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 due to complications of renal cancer he battled since 2016. Bruce was born September 25, 1939 to parents Dorothy and Frederick Bissell in Fresno, California.
Bruce is survived by wife Sue Bissell, daughters Amy Hess and Kathryn Dresick, son-in-law John Dresick, grandsons Jack and Sam Dresick, sister Bernadette Ramsey. Bruce was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Dorothy Bissell and brother Gaylaird Bissell.
Bruce spent his entire life as a farmer in Fresno County and took great pride in his decision to farm alongside his family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that had the privilege to enjoy the many conversations "down the field or at the hay barn."
