Bonnie Ann Simonian, age 74, Fresno, CA, passed away on February 12, 2023 after her short battle with cancer. Bonnie was born in Pasadena, Texas. Her parents, Beatrice and Theodore Hahn were surprised to welcome twins; Bebe and Bonnie Hahn on March 19, 1948. At age 4, her family moved to Ojai, California. Bonnie loved to surf and play sports. She set many records at her high school. After graduating Nordhoff High in 1966, she attended Fresno State where she met her husband, Dennis Simonian. They married November 21st, 1970 and had three daughters; Stacy, Kimberly, and Ashley. Together they ran their family business, Simonian Farms. Bonnie worked at the family farm 7 days a week until the day she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2022; however, she never skipped a day without seeing her girls and grandchildren.
Aside from Bonnie’s immense love and dedication to her family and grandchildren, Bonnie also had a passion for riding her Harley Davidson and rode on the infamous Route 66 Highway and all the way to Yellowstone National Park. Her nickname and Motorcycle Harley plates read “BONDOG”.
Family was Bonnie’s main joy in life, she always put them first and loved her grandchildren Mason, Mikayla, Alexis, Kaylianna, Taelyn, Blake, and Tori-Bonnie along with son-in-laws Mike Marini and Jordan Hunter. She was also a loving auntie to nieces and nephews. Bonnie will always be remembered for her strength, dedication, dignity, grit, and sense of humor. She was the matriarch and glue of her family, but leaves behind a legacy of immense love. She will be forever loved and truly missed by all.
