There will be a visitation and celebration of life on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 11:00a.m.to 2:00p.m. at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns and Blair Funeral Home.
Beverly was born in Fresno to Henry and Anna Scheidt on September 12, 1935. She graduated from Fresno High School, followed by her bachelors degree at Fresno State University. She was married to Robert “Jerry” Guinn, and was a school teacher for several years. She loved playing the piano, and Hawaiian dancing, which she enjoyed performing for friends and family. She was involved in the Junior League, volunteered at Holiday Boutique, and was a wedding coordinator at Northwest Church. She was very involved in her children’s lives and the schools’ PTA’s. She was best known for her love of entertaining, social engagements, travel adventures, playing bridge, and her impeccable style.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Henry & Anna Scheidt, her husband, Robert “Jerry” Guinn, and her son, Stephen Warner Guinn. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Starkey, her grandchildren, Allison Guinn, Matthew Guinn (Juliana Guinn), Collin Britton, Patrick Britton, Shea Hutchison (Cameron Hutchison), Kaylin Jewell (Caleb Jewell), daughter-in- law, Sandy Beach, son-in-law, Steven Starkey, and great grandchildren, Carina and Emilia Guinn, Chloe and Emma Hutchison, and Keziah Jewell.
The family of Beverly Ann Guinn wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the special care of The Grove Assisting Living, St. Agnes Hospice, and dear friends who supported and loved her over the past years and throughout her entire life – she was blessed.
