Mrs. Betty Jane Dunn

Betty was a high school graduate of Bakersfield High School. She had been married to her husband for 54 years, before he passed away in 2003. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies included traveling to Reno, Lake Tahoe, and the Central Coast, listening to Elvis, dancing and baking.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed volunteering her time serving the Lord.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Dunn; her son, Kerry Dunn; her granddaughter, Nicole Dunn; her grandson, Thomas Labedz II; her sister, Ethel Corn; and her brothers, Leonard Kuhn and Conrad Kuhn.

Betty is survived by her three children, Barbara Davis, Augie Dunn and his wife Sharon, and Keith Dunn and his wife Cindy; along with 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at Belmont Memorial Park.
