Betty Jane Crow

Betty J. Crow passed away January 2, 2012 in Fresno, CA at the age of 89 years. She lost her battle with Alzheimer's Disease as her family and caregivers provided loving care to the very end. She is survived by John, her dear husband of almost 70 years.

She was born in Athens, Texas. Betty married John Crow in June 1942. Following the end of WWII, they settled in southern California where they had many friends, were active in church and school activities, played golf, and shared a full and happy life. Upon John's retirement, they moved to Paradise, CA to make many new friends, enjoyed ladies card group, gardening and traveling the states and many beautiful places around the world. Betty planned many parties and celebrations at her lovely Paradise home of 26 years.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband John, children, grandchildren and friends and lovingly remembered forever.

Betty was most proud of her family; son, David Crow and wife Vicki; grandsons, Matthew Crow and Ryan Buchanan of Fresno, CA; her daughter, Kathryn Harold and husband Steven of Petaluma, CA; granddaughter, Kristen Weiler and husband Kevin of San Jose, CA; and grandson, Jeffrey Harold of San Francisco, CA. She also is survived by many dear nieces and nephews in various states.

A Memorial Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
