Annie "Fong Lai Ping" Tsui was born on December 24, 1922 in Shanghai, China. Annie was the eldest of two children. On January 22, 1941, she married Raymond Tsui in Shanghai. They lived in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan prior to immigrating to the United States.
Annie had many artistic talents that included painting, sewing, knitting and cooking. She shared these talents with her children and grandchildren throughout her life.
Surrounded by her loved ones, Annie passed away peacefully on the evening of November 26, 2012. She was 89 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Tsui; children and their spouses, Stella and Dick Lee, Eva and Patrick Lam, Franklin and Ellen Tsui, Amy Collins and Larry Burne, Felix and Janet Tsui, Florence and Gary Dunn, Godwin Tsui and Daniel Tsui; two granddaughters; eight grandsons; and her brother, Fong Fu Wing.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
A private service will be held.
