Patrick E. McCarty

Patrick E. McCarty, age 68, of Fremont, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on May 22, 1954 in Angola, Indiana to Eugene and Deloris (Leazier) McCarty, they preceded him in death. Pat graduated from Fremont High School in 1973. He served in the United States Air Force at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. Pat worked for Dana Weatherhead in Angola, Eagle Picher in Ashley, and Fremont Wire. Survivors include a brother; Michael (Linda) McCarty of Fremont, Indiana, a niece; Michelle (Craig) Diss of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and nephews; Richard (Kim) McCarty of Fremont, Indiana, and Kenneth (Carrie) McCarty of Phoenix, Arizona, and great-nephew; Owin Fogle. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana. Rev. James Hazekamp will officiate the service. Military Honors will be conducted by the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257, and the US Air Force Honors Team. Memorial donations in his memory may be directed in care of Steuben County Cancer Association or the Fremont Fire Department.
