He was born on October 15, 1941 in Paducah, Kentucky.
Gerry worked as a car dealer for most of his life, including formerly having an American Motor dealership in Angola, Indiana.
Survivors include his wife, Jeri Threlkeld of Angola, Indiana, daughter, Shelly, son, Shannon, a step-daughter, Dawn Kolter of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and niece, Tina (Steve) Siegel of Fremont, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Aurel Threlkeld and Midred Frances (Wolf) Threlkeld and a brother and sister.
Following his wishes there will be no services at this time.
