David Lee McKinley

He was born on March 5, 1951 in Angola, Indiana to Dale M. and Janet R. (Hutchins) McKinley.

David married Bonnie Gibson on April 4, 1990 in Fremont, Indiana. She preceded him in death on February 13, 2016.

He worked for Metal Spinners in Angola, Indiana for over 30 years.

David was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved his grandchildren, and was never worried about just being himself. He had a mobile scooter and enjoyed riding around the town of Bronson. in his recent years he had moved to Bronson, Michigan, and also had lived in Fremont, Indiana.

Survivors include his sons, Brian (Chris Ann) McKinley of Avilla, Indiana, and Barry (Kristy) McKinley of St. Joe, Indiana, step-son and daughter-in-law, Robbie & Jennifer Teegardin of Bronson, Michigan, grandchildren including, Harley Teegardin, Derick Teegardin, and Matthew Ebert, a brother, Steve McKinley of California, sisters, Kari Frye of Angola, Indiana, Barb Word of Angola, Indiana, and Linda Phibbs of Angola, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Janet McKinley, wife, Bonnie McKinley, and brothers, Don McKinley and Gary McKinley.

Following David's wishes there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.

Any memorial donations in his memory may be given to the family.
