She was born on September 22, 1931 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Charles and Naoma (Thompson) Burlingame.
Beverly married Gerald Sellers on June 6, 1972 in Battle Creek, Michigan, he preceded her in death on January 15, 2005.
Beverly’s life was nothing short of a full one. Spending her early years growing up on a farm, caring for many animals which blossomed into a special connection and love of them. Beverly had many jobs but her favorite was working for an accounting firm as an office assistant who specialized in working with IBM machines. She was considered the Matriarch of the family, being an amazing mother to both her children, Karen and David, and being blessed to grow in deep loving relationships with each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beyond blood ties, Beverly dedicated her life to all of her relationships, countless friends and acquaintances mourn the loss of a remarkable soul whose warmth and generosity left an enduring legacy.Beverly had unwavering faith during all her seasons of life and was looking forward to her eternal life in the presence of her Savior.
Survivors include her children, Karen (Tony) Giannelli of Dimondale, Michigan and David Robinson of Fremont, Indiana, four grandchildren, Allison (Nicholas) Rose, Kristen (Troy) Maran, Charlie (Kristen) Robinson, Lauren (Matthew) Hanson, several great-grandchildren Dominic, Alina, Vincent, Emmett, Jordan, Leann, Atlas, Ronan, and Conner, a brother, Robert (Renee) Burlingame of Lytle Creek, California,nephews, Kevin (Susan) Burlingame and Seamus (Michele) Burlingame, and step-children, Matthew (Teresa) Sellers of Utah and Kathi Moore of Michigan.
As we bid a farewell to Beverly, we will celebrate a life well-lived, rich in love, compassion, and shared moments that will be cherished forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, January 19, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Rev. Susannah Tulloch will officiate the service.
Burial will follow the service at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
Donations in her honor can be made to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County and Fremont United Methodist Church.
