Martha Ann Houge

Martha Ann Houge, age 90, of King George, Virginia passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on September 24, 1932 in Salina, Iowa, daughter to the late Harry Elvin Anderson and Mary Ellen Anderson. She loved to go to church and she was a member at Highway Assembly of God, in Fredericksburg. She loved to spend time with her family but most importantly, she loved taking care of them. On her free time, she liked to read, sew, cook, and she collected angels. Most Importantly, Martha taught her children and grandchildren to pray and love God, which is the greatest heritage of all. Martha is survived by her daughter, Becky Burns; son, Ronald Houge; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Howard J. Houge; daughters, Marcia Forrester, Sherry and Danny Houge; sister, Mary Joy. A service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service located at 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg VA 22401.
