Juanita Gail Costner

Juanita Gail Costner, age 63, of Sumerduck, VA passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA. She was born on December 19, 1959 in Knoxville, TN the daughter of the late Clyde J. and Callie (Dailey) Simonds. She was a loving wife, mom and Mimi. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tasha Shay Costner; brother, Jerry Lynn Simonds; sister, Sheila Ann Simonds. Survivors include her husband, Robert S. Curtis of Sumerduck, VA; two sons, Tony Lynn Simonds (Tina) of Gastonia, NC, Aaron S. Costner of Gastonia, NC; one daughter, Hillary R. Clayton (Barry) of Blacksburg, SC; one step-son, Scott Curtis (Stacy) of Gastonia, NC; one sister, Joyce White (Ronnie) of Tennessee; 15 grandchildren, Noah Costner, Cameron Hogue, Alec Hogue, Roger Sawyer, Jr, Skylar Castera, Dylan Castera, Nivia Hodge, Brantlee Clayton, Hunter Clayton, Sophia Hughes, Daisy Costner, Gavin Jackson, Caroline Curtis, Cecilley Jackson, Chandler Curtis; 2 great grandchildren, Blaizely Finley, Greyson Hogue. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
