Jerry Wayne Stafford

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Lee Stafford and is survived by his children, Robin Stafford (Russ), Jerry Wayne Stafford, Jr. (Lynn), and April Stafford (Scott); six grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Justin, Lauren, Will, and Alex; eight great-grandchildren, Breanna, J.J, Xaiver, Ty, Noah, Donte, Ellie, and Charlotte; one great-great-grandchild, Ryleigh; sibling, Shirley Jenkins; and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years with several deployments into warzones. After retiring as a Master Sergeant, he worked for more than a decade as a federal employee supporting this country’s military.

A loving husband and father with no greater joy than his family and friends, Jerry will be remembered for his strong will, indomitable spirit, and incredible love of all animals.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7th, from 1-3 p.m. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service at 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, Virginia. A service will take place Monday, May 8th, at 10:30 a.m. at Mullins & Thompson, followed by burial at Quantico National Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather at the home of Jerry Stafford, Jr. (72 Brush Everard Court, Stafford, VA 22554) following the burial.
