Henry Allen Thacker “Ramblin Man” July 23, 1934 - December 12, 2022 (88 years) Henry Allen Thacker, 88, of Spotsylvania, died Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home. He was known to many as “Ramblin Man”. Henry was a Lifetime Member of the Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Spotswood Baptist Church. He worked as a mechanic for years and was the owner-operator of Henry’s Towing. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, listening to bluegrass music, and watching westerns. Henry is survived by his children Sharon Thacker, Patricia DeRosa, and Michael Thacker; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty S. Thacker, parents, Aubrey A. and Mollie H. Thacker, brother David L. Thacker, and grandson Kenneth A. Thacker.
