Stephanie Lynn Markham Minge, age 33, passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 5th, after a courageous 7-year battle with cancer. Born August 14th, 1979, in Hamilton, Ohio, Stephanie is a graduate of Madison High School and Miami University, where she excelled academically and demonstrated her passion and talent for instrumental music. After earning a BM in Music Education, Stephanie taught at Carroll High School and then at Middletown City Schools. She was an incredible music educator inspiring hundreds of students. Throughout her battle, she continued to inspire and awe with her humor and strength in the face of a daunting journey and to grow as an entrepreneur and a motivational leader. Stephanie was an active member of First Baptist Church volunteering, serving on the Christian Education Board and in the music ministry. She leaves a hole in the hearts of many, yet a legacy of inspiration and love and will be missed and remembered by countless loving friends and family. Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Herbert J. and Evelyn Poff Martin. She will be loved and remembered by her husband, Sammy Minge; her parents, Steve and Marcia Martin Markham; her sister, Angela Markham; her grandparents, Ed Markham, Wanda F. and Frank Gustin; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece and nephew. The family wishes to thank all those who loved and supported Stephanie and her family throughout the years. Visitation will be 4-8pm on Tuesday, December 11th, with services at 11am on Wednesday, December 12th. Both will be held at First Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio. Stephanie will be laid to rest in Miltonville Cemetery.
