Shirley Jean Taylor

Shirley Jean Taylor, age 83 of Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Bethesda Butler Hospital, Hamilton, Ohio. Born in Grundy, Viginia on September 26, 1941 she was a daughter to the late Hobert Hurley & Bertha (Hurley) Hurley. Shirley was very active at her church, Hillcrest Baptist Church in Carlisle. She loved spending time with her family and will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James K. Taylor: grandchild Griffin McNutt: great-grandchild Levi Butler: sister Beatrice Hurley: brothers Denford Hurley; Dean Hurley.

Shirley is survived by her children Chris & Tangela Taylor; Cheryl & Roger McNutt: grandchildren Ethan & Cassandra Taylor; Kaitlin & Blake Butler; Ryan & Leigh Anne McNutt; Taylor McNutt; Roswell McNutt: great-grandchildren Liam Butler; Landen Butler; Cameron Taylor; Brady McNutt; Oaklynn McNutt.

The family sends their appreciation to Sunday school class for all of the love and support they showed Shirley.

Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Hillcrest Baptist Church- 820 Central Ave, Franklin, Ohio-. Funeral service to be held at Noon with Pastor Larry Lambes presiding. Burial to follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Anderson Funeral Home, Franklin, Ohio.
