Ronnie L. Bowling, age 69, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mr. Bowling passed with his family by his side. He was born October 24, 1944 in Middletown. Ron worked at Simpson Paper Company for many years and eventually retired from Madison School District. He is survived by his children; son, Larry and Shirley Bowling, daughter, Ronhda and Jeff Harbin, son, Butch Bowling, and daughter, Lisa Cassidy; grandchildren, Sara Bowling and fiancé, Abe Winkler, Matthew wife, Kayla McIntosh, Rachel husband, Jeff Esposito, Emily Bowling and fiancé, Cody Powers, Amie Bowling, Joshua Bowling, Jarrett Bowling, and Colby and Connor Cassidy; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Cameron and Marley McIntosh, Colt and Allison Esposito and Peyton and Eli Winkler. He is also survived by his sisters, Janice, Pam and Rita; brothers, Aaron, Tim and Rocky; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Bowling; a daughter, Debbie Sue Bowling; his mother, Audrey Clark; his stepfather, Robert Clark; one brother; Greg Booth Sr.; his sister, Donna; and several uncles and grandparents. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Vrindavanam and all the staff at Signal Pointe, the staff at Atrium 3TU, and Hospice for their kindness and care. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend James Anderson officiating.
