Age:64
It saddens my heart to state that my mother has joined her parents, MaryJo (Cafferty) Brandenburg, and Joseph Eugene Brandenburg, along with numerous other beloved family members in heaven. She passed away very peacefully surrounded by her husband Mark Wilson, myself (Kristi), my husband John Eddings, Pam Yenser, and Jim Napier.
Mother grew up as an avid bowler at Lanecrest Lanes, now JD Legends in Franklin, along with Sports Bowl and Eastern Lanes in Middletown, Ohio. She grew up with a ball in hand and achieved some nice bowling awards over the years. She loved tournaments and bowling leagues in general.
Mother loved to sing and was in several Country Western bands then became a karaoke DJ. She had her own wedding planning business with all the services needed for the perfect wedding. She had a tremendous passion for doing her own photography. She also loved to crochet and even crochet a wedding dress and handmade countless other wedding and bridesmaids' gowns.
My grandfather said that you could put my grandmother, mom, and I all three in a bag and shake it up, you would never know who you would pull out. We were like three peas in a pod, which later became the name for our cake and cupcake business, “Three Peas in A Pod.”
Mom and I grew up in my grandparents' home on Franklin-Trenton Road and she graduated from Carlisle High School in 1976 where she loved singing in the choir. If you knew my mother, you’d know how much singing is in her veins.
Lori is survived by her husband, Mark Wilson; her daughter, Kristina K. Poff (husband John Eddings) living in Indianapolis, Indiana; and four grandsons: Delbert Benjamin Todd Mulholland and Alexander Caleb Lee Mulholland both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Paul Gene Harig Jr and Ronald Lee Poff-Harig both of Indianapolis, Indiana; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins all over the United States.
She is proceeded in death by all her grandparents and great-grandparents; both of her parents, MaryJo, and Joseph (“Gene”) Brandenburg; and a great deal of other family members from both sides of her family.
Mother will be cremated through Anderson Funeral Home in Franklin, Ohio and a Celebration of Life will be held at Pennyroyal Baptist Church located at 3733 Pennyroyal Road, Franklin, Ohio https://goo.gl/maps/7ghKScXqnvPojRUF8 at a future date and time. Visitations is Saturday February 25, 2023 from 12-2 and service following from 2-3. Pastor Josh Clifford will officiate the service. Small meal following at the red barn across the street.
