Joe Barnard, age 85, of Franklin, OH; died Saturday October 24, 2020 at Sycamore Glen Retirement Community Assisted Living. Joes was born in Clay County, KY on April 15, 1935 to the late John and Mandy Barnard. He served in the US Air Force, enjoyed playing cards, horse shoes and corn hole. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Barnard; his son, John Barnard; his brothers, James and Johnny Barnard; his sisters, Mae Baker, Jackie Thorpe, Ginger Clark, Elva Jones and Elsie Reeder. Joe is survived by his son, Chris (Deanna) Barnard and his grandson Joshua. Funeral Services are 1pm Saturday October 31, 2020 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Polly Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Saturday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
