James David Dunn

David was a 1962 graduate of Franklin High School, where he starred in basketball and held the scoring record for 50 years. He loved all sports, and especially loved to follow the Tennessee Volunteers. David retired from Hahn Automotive "UCI Midwest".

He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Kelly Dunn.

David is survived by his wife, Cathy Dunn (Piatt); daughter, Elizabeth Thompson; son, Anthony (Grace) Piatt; grandchildren, Henry, Brooks, and Bennett Piatt; Jeffrey Burton, Brittney Dunn, and Maccey Wright; great grandchildren, Jeffrey III, and Ja'Mia Burton, Kellen and Skyla Spencer, Honesti Walton - Payne, and Tyrell Payne; and sisters, Pam (Jerry) Harris, and Bonnie (Donnie) Gray.

A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Vine Community Church, 4900 North State Route 123, Franklin, OH 45005, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM.
