Helen Callahan

Helen Callahan, age 83, of Franklin, passed away on December 2, 2023 in Hospice care at Atrium Medical Center. She was born October 14, 1940 in Hyden, KY to Paul and Zilpha (Maggard) Bray. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking big meals for her family, sewing, working puzzles, fishing at Rocky Fork Lake, playing bingo, spending the winter in Florida with her Red Hat Society, bowling, and loved to have garage sales as well as go to them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, brothers Carl, Harold and Ernest Bray. She is survived by her children Douglas (Robin) Baker, Ronnie (Sheila) Baker and Teresa Hampton; seven grandchildren Landon Mosley, Kevin (Becca) Baker, Ashley (Justin) Bruce, Kelly (Brandon) Gorsuch, Kristin (Zach) Fessel, Krystal (Zach) Carpenter and Leann (Jeffrey) Stevison ; fourteen great-grandchildren Zao, Alexis, Hadassah, Bailey, Brody, Jackson, Hailey, Roman, Connor, Lilah, Kensington, Jace, Olivia and Aida; siblings Ruth Bowen, Eddie and Lonnie Bray.

Visitation will be 10am-12pm Thursday December 7, 2023 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St. Franklin, OH with services following. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
