Eugene Prater

He was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on November 23, 1938, the son of the late Malcom and Desi (Frances) Prater. He is also preceded in death by his 2 wives, Lynda in 2000 and Bonnie in 2022; a daughter-in-law, Robin; 3 siblings, Jimmy Prater, Nadine Wallen and Teddy Prater and a great-grandson, Carson Prater.

Eugene is survived by his 3 children, Scott and wife, Vicki Prater, Roddy Prater and Misty Gross; a sister, Pat Puckett; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

He had been employed by Dayton Wheel Products and Hyblast.

The family will receive visitors at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023. Graveside services with interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Woodhill Cemetery, 6228 Hamilton-Middletown Road, Franklin, Ohio, 45005.
