I met Dustin at a very crazy time in my life, and he helped me out tremendously. But most of all, he showed me that true friends do exist. I got him a job working with me a Frisch's and we had some of the greatest times there. I'm so sorry for the family's loss and you'll all be in my prayers. You'll forever be missed Dustin. Dustin was always so close to our family, best friends with my brother and like another brother to me. He was always a very sweet and funny kid, I loved him very much. I know I'm my heart you are watching over your family and the rest of your family that isn't blood. My heart and prayers go out to your family. I love you Dustin, your with God now and at peace. I met Dustin a little over 3 years ago in West Palm Beach Florida...we actually flew down on the same flight and he said he immediately noticed me and continued on about my hands and how he thought they were beautiful lol yeah beautiful hands! Well after about 2 months spending every day all day with him he won me over and we booked our flights to move to Charlotte together (That's my hometown and where I've lived my entire life other than Florida for a few months) being from the south and unexpectedly now dating someone from up north was a lot to get used to well let me correct that Dustin was a lot to get used to haha but we had a blast the entirety of his stay with me! The week we moved to Charlotte my dad had just bought a new condo and we had to renovate the whole thing and not even a week ago me and Dustin were talking about life and how things were going for us- every few months I'd get a new friend request from him and we would catch up but our last talk last week was sad because he happened to message me just a few hours after my dad passed away...but he was so encouraging to me and telling me how good he was doing. This truly breaks my heart to find out.  Dustin was such a great guy and he treated me with more respect than any other guy I've dated has. He will truly be missed. Love always.

Dustin was my best friend since the age of about 12..he was one of the most kind hearted person I've ever known. He had such a huge impact on my life, especially in regards to my recovery and sobriety in these last months we spent together here at the turtle Creek center..He cared so much about everyone else he forgot to put himself first, very selfless guy, he was somebody everybody loved, and was always there for me even when I was wrong I'll never forget that. I'm absolutely crushed over this but I hope he's finally at peace..I'm so sorry Peggy and Jerry, and JR. And the rest of the family. You guys are for sure in my prayers. I love you buddy, rest in peace.

Hello I am so sorry for your loss. I was Dustin's instructor at CCC for his classes and I use to stay on his case constantly. He used to ask me why I was so hard on him and i said because i believe in you. Through the time he realized i did care and started setting goals. He was one of those i held in my heart and i am deeply saddened we have lost such a precious angel. May God bring you peace at this time.
