It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Faye Gonzalez, aged 63, a loving mother, devoted Christian, and cherished friend, who was called home to be with the Lord on September 20th, 2024. Surrounded by her family, Alice peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and selfless love.
Born on April 17th in Wilmington, Delaware lived her life deeply rooted in her Christian faith, which was her guide through both joy and sorrow. She was a pillar of strength, particularly following the loss of her beloved husband, David, who preceded her in death. Despite this immense loss, Alice persevered with grace and an unshakable trust in God’s plan, raising her three children—Alicia, Anthony, and Alexander—with wisdom, love, and a steadfast devotion to their well-being.
As a widowed mother, Alice found her greatest purpose in nurturing her children. Her love and guidance were unwavering, and she worked tirelessly to ensure they grew up surrounded by faith, integrity, and compassion. Her children, now grown, credit her as their source of strength and inspiration, a woman who showed them the true meaning of sacrifice and unconditional love.
Her faith extended far beyond her family. Whether leading Bible studies, offering prayers for others, or volunteering in various ministries, she was always ready to serve. Her warmth, humility, and quiet strength touched the lives of many, and she was a source of comfort and encouragement to all who knew her.
Alice leaves behind her three beloved children— Alicia, Anthony, and Alexander—along with her brother Dennis and seven darling grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of her life. She is now reunited with her husband and rests in the arms of her Savior, whom she faithfully followed throughout her journey on earth.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We take solace in knowing she is now at peace in Heaven, reunited with her loved ones and her Creator.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
