Leslie G. Thies

He was born February 26, 1943 to Leslie A. and Mildred K. Thies.

He graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School, New Jersey. Following graduation he served in the United States Air Force.

Les was a master of all trades he could fix or make anything.

He worked for 32 years at Medical Coaches, Oneonta.

Leslie is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Greiner) of 56 years; sons, Mark Thies and (Janet Long), Franklin, Matthew Thies and (Crystal Shaffer), Franklin and Mikal and Caitlyn, Franklin; grandchildren, Turner Thies and (Terry Peterson), Franklin, Nicholas Thies and (Chelsea Seward), Afton, Adam Thies and (Courtney Wade), Franklin, Allison Thies, Walton, Trenton and Troyer Thies, Franklin, Michael Wright, Severia Arend, Ayrica and A.J. Zimmer and Aaron Bunt; brother, Richard and Joy Thies, Silver City, New Mexico. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Cheryl Thies.

Les will be greatly missed and always loved.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Kenneth L. Bennett Funeral Home, 425 Main Street, Franklin from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
