Lester Rideaux Sr.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 1101 Main Street Franklin, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the St. John-Pecot Street Cemetery.

He is survived by his three sons, Lester (Shiri) Rideaux, Jr. of Sioux City, Iowa, Jason P. Rideaux of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Darren J. (Cheryl) Rideaux of Sioux City, Iowa; his daughter, Lakesha Griffin of Lafayette, Louisiana; a bonus daughter, LaToya (Jeremy) William of Houston, Texas; a sister, Martha Elair; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Ozema and Amelia Sam Rideaux; his wife, Treasure Ann Rideaux; his brothers, Adam Rideaux, Sr., David Rideaux, Sr., and Joseph Rideaux; sisters, Edna Gunner, Agnes Richarson, Winnie Provost, and Shirley Rideaux; and a grandchild, Javante Rideaux.
