His interests were playing hockey, cars (owned several corvettes, a 27 Ford, 99 Mercedes)….and anything with a motor. Carl was an avid fisherman and passed that passion to his children and grandchildren. Carl was a Mr. Fix-It at home and with the neighbors. He loved the summer place in Maine. He worked at 3C, Honeywell Bull, Wayside Resource Group, and upon retirement worked part-time for ADESA Car Auction. He enjoyed working with a very talented scale model builder and acted as his agent.
Carl had a smile and good word for everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife Susan Cioppa (Brenneman) for 57 years, his son David and his fiance` Maria Rabbia, his son Mark and his fiance` Stephanie Costello and his grandchildren, Donna, Desarae, Zachary and Zoë and great grandchildren, Izaiha, Hailey and Domenic.
Carl is survived by his siblings, Forrest Cioppa and his wife Sandi, Richard Cioppa and his wife Laura, and his sister Geraldine and her husband Frank Ryan, along with many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Private ceremony to be held at a later time.
