Born Joseph (Joe) A. Martinez in Guam. Served in the US Army and Air Force. After military service, he was a cable technician and electrician. He was a member of IBEW Local 113. He is preceded by his parents Juan P. Martinez and Josefa Chargulaf as well as 10 siblings.
Joseph is survived by his wife Lynette Martinez; his children - Jon, LeeAnn, Serena, Richelle (Bailey), and Benjamin Martinez; his grandchildren - Devin, Alaina, and Kai Martinez. Also survived by 11 brothers and sisters and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Public Viewing will be Monday, December 23rd 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Rosary 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dove-Witt Funeral Home (6630 S. US Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817). Burial will be Monday, December 30th 1:30 p.m. at Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925).
