She was devoted to her family and friends. Wanda remained deeply in love with her husband Harry James Simeno, Jr., who died in 1986. They were married on November 24, 1951 in First Christian Church of Atchison, Kansas. Wanda was born in Bethany, Missouri May 17, 1931 and she graduated from Atchison High School in 1949.
During her years in Fort Worth, Wanda was active in the community: member of Christian Women's Fellowship, member of University Christian Church, served as corresponding secretary and membership chairman for Fort Worth Banker's Wives Club, a docent for the Fort Worth Zoo, and she was involved in her daughter's school serving on Parent Teachers Associations. She was a homemaker until her daughter went to college. Then she worked at Foley's/Macy's department store until she retired.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Harry James Simeno, Jr.; parents, Bertha Hendren Bartlett, and Paul Bartlett; and Robert Eugene "Bob" Bartlett.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Marie Simeno Blossman and husband Joseph Alexander Blossman; grandchildren, Joseph Alexander Blossman, Jr. and wife Rachel Spiers Blossman, and Perrin James Blossman; great granddaughter, Layla Violet Blossman; and brother, William E. Bartlett.
