Virginia Davis Bell, 101 years of age, of Forest Hill, Texas, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, June 23, 2022, after being cared for by her loving daughters for many years. She was born in Caldwell, Texas on July 13, 1920. Virginia Davis was the oldest child of Arrington Davis and Mary Washington Davis. She received her formal education in Sandy Grove.
She was married to Alvin Bell for over sixty years. To this union, six children were born. Virginia was a faithful member of the Worth Hills Church of Christ for over sixty years. She had a passion for sewing and loved cooking. Virginia enjoyed traveling and being surrounded by family. Her strongest prayers were for her family to always stay close and be faithful in the church.
She was preceded in death by her son Marvin Earl Bell Sr., husband Alvin Bell, and her daughter Reatha Carter.
To cherish her memories, she leaves four children: James Bell (Lola), Evelyn Ury (Brice), Katherine Bell, and Jacqueline Shears. She also leaves to mourn 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land FH - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park - FW, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
