He passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the age of 83, surrounded by family while holding his wife Teresa's hand.
Travis grew up in Baird and Abilene, Texas where he developed a love for cars, especially hotrods.
In his younger years, he was President of the Road Knights Hotrod club of Abilene, Texas.
Travis moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1963, and he was a mechanic at Jack Williams Chevrolet for many years. He then moved to Crowley, Texas in 1983 when he married his wife Teresa and worked at Star Vending Company before retiring.
Travis was a very kind man who loved life and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a quiet man, but was always listening.
He loved to read and watch old Western shows. In his later years, not a day went by that he didn't watch several episodes of his favorite TV show, Judge Judy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Cora Lee, his brother David Springfield, sister Sue Loper, and son Jeff Bullock.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate Teresa Springfield; Son, Scott Springfield; Daughters, Kim Wyatt, Cindy Kelly, Melissa Doud, Angela Nicholson, and son Chris Bullock as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
