Sylvester Lee Brown

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sylvester Lee Brown, who left us on December 6, 2024, at the age of 61. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Born on August 13, 1963, in Lula, Mississippi, Sylvester Brown was the seventh of fourteen children of LT and Carrie Brown. Throughout his life, Sylvester Brown was known for contagious laughter, compassion, selflessness, and had never met a stranger. He devoted his time and energy to his family.

Sylvester Brown is survived with deep sorrow by his only daughter Summer and grandson Roman; siblings: LT Jr., Henry, Raymond, Larrie, Robert, Andrew, Deanie and many more family and friends.

Sylvester Brown was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lisa Brown, mother and father: LT and Carrie Brown, four brothers: Hubbard, Jippie (Jeff), James, and Melvin.

The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Sylvester Brown's life on December 21, 2024, at 10 am for casket viewing, then for the memorial service following at 11 am at Laurel Land Fort Worth (address 7100 Crowley Rd). The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Sylvester Brown’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
