Mr. Pearl Johnson, age 81, of Fort Worth, Texas, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 the Angel of Silence brought a summons from his heavenly Father, and he answered the call. Pearl was born June 28, 1940, in Leon County, Nineveh, Texas twin boys were born to George and Mae Henry Johnson. He was the first of nine children born to that union. They named him Pearl Johnson. Pearl attended and received his education at Douglas High School in Centerville, Texas. On December 16, 1963, he was united in holy matrimony to Muriel Marshall in Fort Worth, Texas. To this union three children were born. He was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. Pearl accepted Christ into his life at an early age and developed his Christian growth by attending Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, Oakwood, Texas. He later became a devoted member and Deacon of Morningside Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Pearl worked at FJW Construction Company for many years and enjoyed ranching, hunting, fishing and spending fun-time with family. Pearl is now reunited with his wife, Muriel, daughter, Sherry, parents, George and Mae Henry Johnson, two brothers, Earl and Arfaniel Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Jerry Johnson; daughter, Natasha Johnson; eight grandchildren, Cathy, Fred, Jr., Sheena, Darrell, Vinecia, Tanisha and Danielle; six great-grandchildren, Takiya, Zaniya, Robert, Zeaira, Dylan and Asia; six siblings, Nathan Johnson (Altheria), Henry Johnson, Versie Smith, Lauree Miller (Loyce), Minnie Brown and Roosevelt Johnson (Denise) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
