Nancy (also known as Nanny) was born in DeLeon, TX on July 16, 1935. She spent her entire childhood in TX and married the love of her life, Bob Westbrook, at the age of 19. She became an Air Force wife and resided in many beautiful places including Germany, Oregon, Washington, Colorado and ultimately back home to Texas where they raised their 3 children.
Throughout her years she worked at multiple electronics companies eventually retiring from Motorola in Fort Worth. Nancy was a devout Christian who loved her church, Smithfield United Methodist, and was a member of the Mid Cities Christian Women’s Group.
Nancy was quite the seamstress and extremely talented in crafting various masterpieces over the course of her life. Along with sewing she loved to cook and leaves behind a treasure trove of recipes that will be passed down the generations. In her spare time she could be found reading, or doing crossword puzzles. Nancy was a true gem and was very rarely seen without a smile on her face.
Most of all, Nancy loved her children, grandkids and great-grand kids. They all brought so much joy and happiness to her life.
Nancy is survived by her three children: Cathy and her husband Steve Guess, Mike Westbrook and his wife Ginger, and Dennis Westbrook and his wife Maria. Nancy also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren all of whom will miss her dearly.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Augusta Mae Blitch, sister Dorothy Bonham, brother Ben Blitch, granddaughter Jessica Guess and her beloved husband, Robert E. Westbrook.
