Mildred Margaret Petty

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Shannon Rose Hill Chapel. Interment to follow in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mildred was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Fort Worth to Jerry Lee and Amanda Jane West Sutton. She graduated from R.L. Pascal High School in 1938 and attended Texas Christian University. She retired from Texas American Bank (originally Fort Worth National Bank) in 1984, where she worked as a customer service officer. Mildred served two terms on the vestry at St. Luke in the Meadow Episcopal Church and was privileged also to serve one year as senior warden. She also served as directoress of the Altar Guild for seven years.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Travis Lee Petty Sr.; sister, Ann Frances Sutton; and brothers, Robert R. Sutton and Carl Sutton.

Survivors: Her sons, Travis Lee Petty Jr. and wife, Karen, and Gary Lee Petty; stepdaughter, Frances Walker and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Amye Cole and Andy Cole and wife, Holly; and special friends, DeAnn McKinley and Dena Hills.
