Lee Johnson Jr., a resident of Killeen, TX, passed away on June 30th, 2024. He was born on January 27th, 1949, in Fort Worth, TX, to parents Mildred and I. Lee Johnson Sr. Lee was the second born of seven children.
Lee attended Fort Worth ISD, where he graduated in 1967. He then served his country with honor in the Vietnam War as a member of the Army. After his military service, Lee transitioned to a career in truck driving, a profession he excelled in until his retirement at Fort Hood. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, Lee was a respected figure in his community and among his peers.
In his personal life, Lee enjoyed working in his yard, tinkering with his truck, and cherishing moments with his family. His passion for these hobbies reflected his love for hands-on activities and his deep connection to his loved ones.
Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, who was the love of his life, and his daughter, Rochelle. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Charles, Ricky, Maxine, Vera, Claude Ray, and Timothy.
Lee leaves to carry on his legacy his children, Kirk Perry Johnson (Julie) and Peggy Clayborn, and his sister Charlene Nelson. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Lee Johnson Jr. will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
