Born on October 16, 1965, in San Angelo, Texas, he was the son of Curtis Dean Jennings and Janabeth Conner. Kevin completed his education at Central High School in 1984 and pursued further studies at Tyler Junior College before embarking on his journey of service and dedication.
Kevin answered the call to serve his country and joined the United States Air Force, where he served with honor and distinction for twenty years. He was a part of the 136th Airlift Wing Texas National Guard. Throughout his tenure, Kevin demonstrated unwavering commitment, deploying six times to various regions including Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Oman, and Germany. His exemplary service earned him the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious contributions as a Technical Sergeant from December 21, 1994, to December 19, 2014.
After his honorable discharge, Kevin contributed his skills to the Federal Aviation Administration as an engineering technician until 2019. He found joy in being a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, attending tailgates, and attending the Byron Nelson and Colonial golf tournaments. Kevin was an avid golfer, motorcycle enthusiast, and cherished moments spent traveling and bonding with his children. Kevin was a man of profound faith, known for his infectious smile and genuine warmth towards all he encountered. He never met a stranger, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those around him.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Jennings, and is survived by his wife, Marissa Jennings of North Richland Hills, TX; children, Allison, Adam, Ashton, Aven, Andrew, and their mother, Holly Jennings of Bedford, TX; stepchildren Bella and Max of North Richland Hills, TX; mother Janabeth Hall of Weatherford, TX; stepmother Deborah Jennings of Ballinger, TX; siblings Kelliann Hoelscher and husband, Chris of Southlake, TX; Wesley Jennings and wife, Courtney, with nephews Jackson and Grayson of Little Elm, TX. He is also survived by many other cousins and friends. Kevin's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
