Joey Don Goin

Joey Don Goin, 58, of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023 at 4:36am. His wife, daughter, and sister were by his side as he departed this Earth. Joey was born September 12, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Winnifred Delores (Dee) Riddle and Jimmy Don Goin; two sisters, Kathy Hagedon and Barbara Thornton; and two nephews, Jimmy Esquivel and Levi Crocker.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda; daughter, Tawana, of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Amanda and husband, Stryker, of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Vivian and husband, Darrin, of Arlington, Texas; ten grandchildren: William Daniel and wife Emily, Joseph Samuel, Jason Michael, Henleigh Brooke, Stevie Jaclyn, Jordan Ennis, Raegan Laine, Lauren Paige, Adam Michael, and Abel Danger; two nephews, Chase Crocker and Tonka Esquivel; two nieces, Sasha Hernandez and Angie Thornton; and life-long friend, Jerry Lindsey.

Joey met his soulmate and life partner, Linda, in 1995. They made their home in Arlington for the next 28 years.

Joey was a jack-of-all trades. He worked for Vandergriff Honda and spent his last years delivering pizza. But, his favorite and most notable job was being "Pawpaw," a job he excelled at. He was fond of tapioca pudding and his furbaby, Solo.

He leaves many wonderful memories.

A date and time for his celebration will be announced at a later date.
