Jo Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she was loved by many and will be missed greatly by all. She is now singing in God's chorus, "How Great Thou Art."
Joann was preceded in death be her husband of 53 years, E.L. "Slick" Perkins, in 2008; father, James A Yelverton; stepmother, Mattie Yelverton; and many other family and friends.
Survivors: She is survived by children, Elizabeth A Campbell and husband, Lloyd, Vickie Jordan and husband, Jerry, and Emmett Lee Perkins and wife, Paula; grandchildren, Christine Dykyj, James, Travis and Forest Jordan, Brandon and Ashley, and Hunter Perkins, Tony L Campbell; great-grandchildren, TJ Campbell, Amanda, Julian, Samantha and Nicholas Dykyj; great-great-grandchildren, Grace Lynn Campbell, Bradon and Shayla; sisters, Mary Heidelberg and Patty Brisentine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
