Javier Pulido

Javier (Harvey) Pulido passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was visited, supported, encouraged, and loved by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews throughout his recent illness. Javier was born on November 11th 1949 in Ucacuaro, Michoacan, Mexico. At the age of 8 he came to the United States and became a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Texas.

Javier was a graduate of Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth. He made a lifelong career as manager and area supervisor for Pulido’s Mexican Restaurants. Among his interests Javier enjoyed hunting, working in his yard and most of all his beloved sport of golf and all the friendships that came with that.

Javier is survived by his wife of 51 years Laura Pulido, sons Francisco (Franky) Javier Pulido Jr., Juan (Johnny) Pulido and wife Christine, David Alfonso Pulido and wife Jordan, and Devon Leatherman, granddaughter Vivian Pulido, brothers Salvador Pulido and wife Juana, Jose Luis Pulido and wife Esther, Alfonso Pulido and wife Hermila, sisters Martha Quintero, Maria de Jesus Zaragoza, Lidia Torres and husband Mariano.

Javier was preceded in death by his parents Alfonso Pulido and Genoveva Cazares, and brother George Pulido.

A memorial service for Javier will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr, Fort Worth, Texas 76148, followed by a reception to follow service . A burial will be at a future date determined by family.
