What Will I Do Without You?
I miss you so much. We met at a mathematics workshop in 1983. We departed on a cool whisper silent morning in 2024.  I am devastated with grief. I miss you so much.

Our friendship was earned. We both fought hard  to keep it safe. Time and time again we were there for each other in ways that go above and beyond. Our friendship was about being real and caring from the heart. When new friends came along, they witnessed our friendship as it evolved. While others see the
me I have become, James Charles Goodloe III, knew the me, I’ve always been.
Through the years,  you shared the history you 
grew from, the millions of stories that shaped 
you. Everything about you…..everything beautiful, kind, unexpected and strong…..
comes together perfectly to make you a phenomenal man and my amazing friend.
You were fun to be around. You were wise,
loyal and true, always giving me good advice.
Someone said, “ Good times build confidence 
and bad times, with patience, builds character.
That is why on this day when people pour out their hearts …… I just want you to know that you are in my heart always. A friendship like ours is something to cherish.
I miss you, my dearest friend.
