Helen was a mother of two. She born October 23, 1922 in Helena, Ark. to Dewey and Helen Moore. Once married they moved to Fort Worth; where, Helen became a life long member of sixty + years at Polytechnic United Methodist Church. She got so much joy out of the fellowship, her circle, and visiting the homebound. She loved to talk.
Helen retired after twenty-eight years of service as a buyer for the Masonic Home and School of Texas here in Fort Worth, on May 31,1993, to assume the roll of full time as Nana.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Moore of Richland Hills and her daughter, Marilyn Ann Smith of Fort Worth.
Helen is survived by one son, David Barnett and son-in-law Michael Smith. Three grandchildren: Bobby Corbin {Kelsey Corbin) of Weatherford, Tx; Christopher Smith {Amber Smith} of Lake Worth, Tx; Misti Helms {Skylar Helms} of Fort Worth, Tx. Four great granddaughters: Ariana Uran, Abigale Smith, Madilyn Helms, and Marilyn Corbin. Two nieces: Carol Ann Bringhurst of Abilene, Tx and Mary Jane Stricklin of Arlington, Tx.
