Life Reflections For Mr. Harry Lawrence Helton
Harry Lawrence Helton was born to the parentage of Amon and Ola Gertrude Helton, on November 19th , 1944 in Longview, Texas.
He attended Public Schools in Fort Worth, Texas, after the family moved here at an early age. He was a member of Metropolitan Church Of Christ. He worked for Hensley Mobile Home before moving on to Watkins Motor Lines where he worked as a Diesel Mechanic until he retired.
Preceding him in death was his parents Amon and Ola Gertrude Helton and a sister Beatrice Brown.
He was united in marriage to Miss Edna Barton on June 18th, 1992. They were married for 30 years. No children born to this union.
Left to cherish his memory; are his loving wife Edna Helton and his beloved daughter, Mary Louise Helton and his step daughter, Patrica Ann Barton; two brothers, Amon Helton, Jr. and James Chester Helton; six sisters, Lola Frances (Leo) Breed, Eleanor McCorkle, Alena Ruth Fry, Mary Elizabeth (Ernest) Wilson, Paula Ann (Bert) Thompson and Linda Gail Austin; four grandchildren, Antionette Helton, Alisha Flintroy, Andrea Thomas and Antione Hardy; four step grandchildren, Kronesha, Jessica, Christina and Jayson Barton; one great grandchild and eleven step great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
