Gladys White

Gladys Lucille WHITE, age 91, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Tuesday June 16, 2020. Gladys was born November 24, 1928, to Robert and Marie White in Eatonton, GA. She came to Fort Worth in 1944. She attended I.M. Terrell (graduated in the class of 1948) followed by Paul Quinn College, then Daughters of Charity School of Nursing.

Her employers were St Joseph Hospital from 1951-1993, then Plaza Medical Center (1993-1996). She was a faithful member of Strangers Rest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Robert and Marie White, Sister-Rubie T. Moten and brother-Elijah White.

She Leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Gail White Hightower (Ralph); grandchildren, Trudi Buchanan (David), Travis Carpenter (Katrina), Traci Hawkins, Autricia Taylor (Willie), Ralph Hightower (Tarsha), Denerica Dunlap (Reginald), Monica Perkins (John) and Maurice Hightower (Sylvia); cousins, Hazel Dorsey (Billy), Sara Johnson and Drucilla Adams; and a host of great, and great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
