She was a homemaker and loved spending time with all of her family and friends. She was a strong determined and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her everyday. Gladis was preceded in death by her mother Rosie Wood, father, Jessie Polk, Sr. two brothers, Willie Ben Polk and Jessie Lee Polk, Jr. one sister Katie Cross and two granddaughters, Precious Antwanette Woodson and Breanna Renee Robinson.
Gladis is survived by her husband Harvey Leroy Woodson, Sr. ; three daughters, Jo Woodson Evans (Leonard Evans), Rebecca Robinson and Catalina Woodson; two sons, James Arness Woodson and Harvey Lee Woodson, Jr.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Polk, James Polk, Anthony Polk, Jessie Polk and Bill Polk; sisters, Sarah Jones, Gwen Vanderbilt, Mellisa Polk, Iris Polk, Sharon Polk, Renee Polk, Joyce Polk and Marylee Lindsey. A Host of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins ant other relatives and dear friends.
