Floyd Dee Collins

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Floyd Dee Collins, who left us on November 17, 2024, at the age of 87. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather and his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Born on July 16, 1937, in Mannsville, Oklahoma Floyd Dee Collins was the child of Roy and Edna Collins. He was a graduate of R.L. Paschal High School. Throughout his life, Floyd had a career in drafting for Texas Coil. He devoted his time and energy to being a father and grandfather.

Floyd is survived his son Rodney Collins and daughter-in-law Melody Brockett, grandchildren Shelby Collins, Kelly Collins, Stormy Collins, great-grandchildren BrookLynn Howard, and Brylee Howard, and many more family and friends.

Floyd is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Edna Collins, and sister Bobby.

The family invites relatives and friends to a Celebration of Floyd’s life on November 22, 2024, at 10:00 am, to be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held the evening prior on November 21, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Floyd’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
